There’s probably not a single person reading this report who hasn’t been asked that question many, many times in their lives.

“Would you like fries with that?”

If there is a McDonald’s® anywhere near you, then you’ve been exposed to the concept that we’re going to be talking about today.  You ask for a burger and they respond, “Would you like fries with that?”  And, just like that, they’ve increased their profit per sale when most people respond, “Sure”.

It’s called, the “upsell”.

And it’s not just burgers and fries, virtually all walks of business life offer an “upsell”.


  • Automobiles have extra options,

  • Software programs have extra features,

  • Hotel rooms have extra comforts,

  • Printing papers have extra quality grades, and

  • Video game players have extra accessories

Just to name a few.

There is an option to upgrade from products ranging from 25 cents to $25 million dollars.

That’s what we’re going to talk about today – creating an upsell.  How to get your customers to spend more money with you.

We’re going to divide things up into 3 sections.

Section 1:  The Process of Upselling.
Section 2:  The Principles of Upselling.
Section 3:  The Parts of Upselling.

In the “Process,” I’m going to briefly explain how to setup your upsell offer.  In the “Principles” I’m going to share five ways to convince your customers to buy this upsell.  And, in the “Parts,” I’m going to share with you what I believe to be one of the largest swipe files of upsell ideas as I share 24 different kinds of upsells you can offer to your customers.
